Yellow Hat was the 3rd generation in the Yellow Hat family. The loss of Yellow Hat marks the end of the Yellow Hat line. The family originated in Deep Cove with Yellow Hat in approximately August 2000. After a long and busy life, Yellow Hat was retired and replaced with Yellow Hat the Second. Yellow Hat the Second was also retired after a long and eventful life with the adoption of Yellow Hat the Third from Mexico in late 2007.
Yellow Hat is painfully missed; the void it left was immediately felt with a sunburn to Natasha’s scalp. Yellow Hat was well known to many including the Lotus Sports Club, UBC Rover Crew, Girl Guides of Canada -Burnaby Royal Area and countless kayaking and hiking companions. With no known heirs in the Yellow Hat family, the closely related Orange Hat family will inherit the much coveted, adventure filled estate, Natasha’s Head.
In celebration of the Yellow Hat family, a collection of photos has been compiled. In lieu of flowers, donations to Natasha’s Travel and Adventure Fund are requested.
